Veterans honored during Flag Day Ceremony

The Elks keep their promise that as long as there are veterans, they will never be forgotten. The B.P.O.E. #283 in Rochester honored our veterans from Rochester Manor & Villa during their recent annual Flag Day ceremony. Local veterans were invited to dinner prior to the ceremony. They had a chance to talk with Elks members and meet the Marine JROTC who folded the flag during the ceremony. Each attending veteran was introduced by name and branch of service, then Brian Frank of the Rochester B.P.O.E. presented each one with a gift. Tears could be seen in the eyes of these proud veterans as they were acknowledged and given a round of applause.
