Hundreds of older adults turned out on May 14 for Take Me Out to the Mall, a baseball-themed Day at the Mall at Beaver Valley Mall. The event featured 90 vendors who provided information regarding services and programs benefitting seniors. Strolling performers—accordion player Henry Edwardo, Vintage Debbie and Davey Wagner— kept the crowd entertained.
Premier sponsor Aetna Medicare Solutions provided T-shirts for attendees. Coffee and doughnuts were provided compliments of Ameriprise Financial. Rivertown Advisors sponsored ice cream treats and the entertainment. LIFE Beaver County served nachos. A Stadium Hot Lunch was prepared and served by Nutrition Inc./PCN, and was a big hit with everyone. Complimentary manicures, tech assistance and health screenings were offered by Beaver County Career and Technology Center. WBVP-WMBA radio broadcasted live during the event.
