Normally, rebates are mailed out beginning July 1 and continue to be mailed out. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the commonwealth has chosen to send out rebates starting six weeks early. A total of 110,000 rebates were mailed May 19, and then another 60,000 rebates will be mailed out each week. People who already have applied, should receive their check by July 1.
There is still time to apply. The deadline has been extended through December 31, 2020. For an application, contact your state legislator’s office.
